Deity
The patron deity of the Dwarves of Dravaxus. From the cold peaks of Mountains, where the bones of the Earth thrust forth into the living world, to the darkest depths of the Underworld, which consumes all life in death, and from which all life springs in birth, Thrumnûr the Silent rules. Those to whom he lends the skill may take from his domain metals to craft instruments of glorious war, and wondrous gems to stir the heart with their beauty.

Oren is a good and faithful person; I trust them implicitly.
Einar’s misguided behavior endangers their very soul!
_____ is in constant danger, I will keep them safe.

Appearance, Personality and Background
He looks a bit like a mountain himself, with the bald peak of his head rising out from the grey-black beard that cascades down his shoulders and ends in two braided tails hanging down his chest. Between them, his holy talisman hangs on a fine siver chain, and as it turns and catches the light, it seems to glow with an inner light. His robe is a modest brown-grey, but well-made and thick, as a winter garment, and fastened at the waist with a shining belt. Where the robe parts at the top, a mail shirt can can be seen. He is tall compared to most Dwarves, but still shorter than a Human or Elf; but, regardless, his manner and bearing in conversation is somehow always like one who speaks from a greater height. His voice is not especially deep, but still has a ponderous and wizened quality.
Dûrnish has worked as a Priest of Thrumnûr for longer than he cares to remember, and his uncompromising devotion to his faith has allowed to climb to a high position among other worshippers. He is used to having his words accepted without argument, and has been steeped in the teachings of the Church of Thrumnûr for so long that anything else is nonsense and foolishness to him; nonetheless, he is aware that a large portion of the world has yet to accept Thrumnûr's superiority to all other beings, and so he has suffered to travel out into the world to spread his teachings to the heathen masses, and bring glory to Dravaxus and Thrumnûr. He decided to follow a warrior named Oren Copperbeard who he heard was also travelling out on some mercenary business or other, it seeming a good opportunity to get a feeling for these people he is going to work on.

Commune
When you spend uninterrupted time (an hour or so) in quiet communion with your deity, you:
- Lose any spells already granted to you.
- Are granted new spells of your choice whose total levels don’t exceed your own level+1, and none of which is a higher level than your own level.
- Prepare all of your rotes, which never count against your limit.
Cast a Spell
When you unleash a spell granted to you by your deity, roll+Wis. ✴On a 10+, the spell is successfully cast and your deity does not revoke the spell, so you may cast it again. ✴On a 7–9, the spell is cast, but choose one:
- You draw unwelcome attention or put yourself in a spot. The GM will tell you how.
- Your casting distances you from your deity—take -1 ongoing to cast a spell until the next time you commune.
- After you cast it, the spell is revoked by your deity. You cannot cast the spell again until you commune and have it granted to you.
